DESCRIPTON Powder coating polyester resin is the general name of polymer compounds formed by condensation of diol or dibasic acid or polyol and polyacid. Powder coating polyester resin is divided into saturated polyester resin and unsaturated polyester resin. Unsaturated polyester adhesive is mainly composed of unsaturated polyester resin, pigments, fillers, initiators and other additives. The adhesive has the advantages of low viscosity, easy wetting, good processability, high hardness, good transparency, high brightness, rapid curing under pressure at room temperature, good heat resistance and excellent electrical properties. The disadvantages are large shrinkage, low adhesive toughness, poor chemical medium resistance and water resistance. It is used for non-structural adhesives. It is mainly used for gluing FRP, hard plastic, concrete, electric tank seal, etc. FEATURES l Powder coating polyester resin has good process performance. After being diluted by styrene, it has the appropriate viscosity formed at room temperature. It can be cured at room temperature and has light color. Different measures can be taken to improve its performance. l The comprehensive performance after curing is good. Although the mechanical properties are not as good as epoxy, they are better than phenolic, good electrical properties, corrosion resistance and aging resistance. There are special brands to meet the needs of different uses. Generally speaking, the performance is satisfactory l The price is low, much lower than epoxy and slightly more expensive than phenolic. l Large curing shrinkage and poor heat resistance; It has strong odor and certain toxicity during molding.
