Gloss Powder Coating

DESCRIPTION

Gloss powder coating is a favorite choice for manufacturing and industrial applications due to its durability and appearance. The ability of quality gloss powder coating to resist damage from abrasion, corrosion, weathering and chemical abuse makes it an obvious answer. We take it step further with high quality benchmarks and extra efforts such as masking of all threaded inserts and tapped holes to make sure your industrial and manufacturing parts are protected and easy to use.

Gloss powder coating is available in hundreds (if not thousands) of standard colors, gloss levels, and textures.  High gloss, semi-gloss, flat, and matte finishes are available in most any color.  Clear, metallic, hammertone, wrinkle, transparent, fluorescent, glow-in-the-dark, glimmer, vein/antique, and even holographic finishes are also readily available.  Powders are available to match the RAL color standard, and when all else fails custom powders can be ordered to match any sample you bring in.

Full gloss coatings contain the most amount of resin and enhancing surface imperfections is a negative impact of high gloss. The high gloss surface is much smoother and is the most resistant to abrasion when being cleaned. While a gloss coating tends to enhance surface imperfections, they are more durable and are resistant to staining and dirt pickup. Gloss is directly related to the PVC (pigment volume concentration) of the product. As the percentage of the pigment in coating increases, the gloss level decreases. The lower the percentage of pigment in the coating, the higher the gloss will be.

Each client has its unique finishing requirements. Some are happy with the popular texture and color finish we have in stock. On the other hand, there may be some clients who require detailed needs that require elaborate coatings such as metallic or chrome.
