To create a hammer powder coating it must be formulated with a base coating that has a unique reaction when exposed to radiant or convection heat, which creates a hammered effect. This is where most hammertones fall short - neglecting to consider the application window for the powder coater. Powder New takes the next step and assures the broadest application window, giving the coater the most robust hammertones available. While these challenges still exist, Powder New keeps them to a minimum, making a more consistent finished product day in and day out.
